Difference Between Public and Private Data

The Cureo platform makes it possible to organize, store, and manage your digital assets.  -- Dialog's, Files, Events, Tasks, and Articles.  There are many ways to share this information while keeping it safe and secure.

Channels, Files, Events, and Articles (Content) allow a public or private attribute.  When you make a piece of content public, it is available for use on other platforms.  -- Social Shares, Websites, Links in other documents or emails...

When new content is created or uploaded into Cureo, it inherits the attributes of the channel you file it in.  For example, if a channel is to make content public, new files uploaded will be public as a default.   You have control for each piece and can override as needed.  (Public events can be made private, and vice-versa).  You can quickly tell by looking for the public tag.

Sharing Non-Public Data:  You can share any content in Cureo with other individuals via email by creating a dialog in Cureo (this is the last step of each piece of content creation).   This will generate an email to the users with a link they can use to access the data.  This information will not show on websites, social sharing, etc.

Public Data is shared via the link create (ie: File Sharing Link), or via any of the Cureo Website widgets.  You can share the content from within Cureo via a dialog, or externally using the method of your choice.
