Creating a Mailing List
Cureo's integrated publishing engine allows you to easily generate mobile-friendly, trackable email communications. Whether you have another email marketing system that you'd like to phase out or are starting from scratch, developing your mailing list is a snap.
Note: You must be a site administrator to create a new mailing list.
Create a new group to get started.
Give your mailing list a name.
Typically is your channel is only being used as a mailing list you'll want to set the following permissions:
- Default Permission Level - View Only
- Uncheck "Allow View Only members to see all members?"
If you'd like to place a sign-up widget on your public website to allow others to sign themselves up for the mailing list, select "Enable Self-Registration to this channel." More information on that can be found HERE.
Once you have made your selections, click Save to complete.
Now you are ready to add your members. If you have an existing database, it may be uploaded directly to Cureo. Instructions are HERE. If you are using the Sign-(p widget to start a new list, no further action is required (other than placing the widget on your website!). As members sign up, they will automatically be added to the list.
