Types of Members
Within Cureo there are generally 3 types of Members:
- Organization (Site) Administrators
- Team Channel Administrators
- Collaborators/Members
Let’s look at permissions each one:
1. Organization Administrators
Team Channels – Add, Edit and Delete
Content – View, Add, Delete, Modify all content types across all channels
Members – Add, Modify and Delete across all channels
Other:
- Update organization profile information
- View File History
- Check in files that were checked out by any member
- View News viewing history
You can add or remove Organization Admins in the Organization Settings. This article explains.
2. Team Channel Administrator
Content – View, Add, Delete, Modify all content types within the channel
Members – Add, Modify and Delete within the channel
Other:
- View File History
- Check in files that were checked out by a channel member
- View News viewing history
3. Collaborators/Members
Administrators will set minimum user permissions (default) at the Team Channel level but they are able to update an individual team member's permissions as needed.
Permission options:
Viewer:
- View - All content in the channel with the exception of Dialogs in which they are not a member (a Dialog that wasn't targeted to the full channel and they were not named in the To field)
- Add - None (they can reply to any content that was shared with them via email or in the application, but they cannot add new)
- Edit - None
- Delete - none
- Members - View only basic profile information for members in shared channel unless this permission has been turned off by administrator at the channel level
Collaborator:
- View - All content in the channel with the exception of Dialogs in which they are not a member (a Dialog that wasn't targeted to the full channel and they were not named in the To field)
- Add - Events, Dialogs, Tasks, Files
- Edit - Events, Dialogs, Tasks, Files created by anyone
- Delete - Events, Dialogs, Tasks, Files created by them (but not by others)
- Members - View only basic profile information for members in shared channel unless this permission has been turned off by administrator at the channel level
